- 8 oz flour
- 4 oz chopped suet
- cold water
- 1 teaspoon (level) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (level) salt
Sift the flour, salt and baking powder, add the suet and mix well. Add a little cold water gradually and mix well until the paste forms a soft dough.
When it leaves the sides of basin cleanly, it is ready to roll out.
